MaxSMS
MaxSMS is an SMS platform integrated into Maximizer, allowing you to send singular or bulk SMS messages to your clients.
To send SMS messages:
1. Select the contacts in the Address Book.
2. Go to Actions and choose “Send Bulk SMS.”
The selected contacts will appear in the Bulk SMS window, confirming the recipients of your message.
In the example below, 3 contacts are selected.
Note:
• The contact entry must have the mobile number in phone line 3.
• The mobile number must be tagged with the word “Cell.”
• The mobile number must start with the dialling code +27.
Registering for MaxSMS
If MaxSMS is not available in your Maximizer, please contact the
Camsoft Support team.
Once activated, follow these steps:
1. Select “Send Bulk SMS.”
2. Click on “Register New Account” and follow the prompts to create a username and password.
3. Purchase your SMS units and use them until they are finished. There are no expiry dates for the units.
You can click on “Buy Credits” when you run out of SMS units or “Query Credits” to check your available credits.

When sending a bulk SMS (to more than one mobile number), you can use the merge fields on the left to include personalized information like “first name” in your message. This allows you to greet each recipient individually in the SMS.
