FAQ: How do I get Maximizer CRM 12 & Groupwise 2014 to work on MS Windows 7 64bit

Q: Once Maximizer and Groupwise has been installed, I get the following error when logging into Maximizer with my username: ODBC driver error. Login failed for Username Master.

A: Please follow this procedure:

  1.  Open Control Panel
  2. Select Default Programs
  3. Set your Default Programs
  4. Select Novell GroupWise
  5. Select Set This Program as Default (Not all Defaults are selected by Default)

 

  1. Log in to GroupWise as user

 

  1. Open Maximizer
  2. Login as MASTER
  3. Select Email (Left Column)
  4. GroupWise Mailbox Window opens up in Maximizer
  5. Wait for Mailbox to Sync
  6. Logout and Log back in as user
  7. User can now open Email (Left Menu) and also email from the Address Book without Maximizer crashing/hanging
