The merits of inbound marketing

A recent article by Matt Ranger at Maximizer Software discussed the merits of inbound marketing. According to Matt the process can make a big impact on your marketing costs and he states the reasons for this as being:
1. By making better use of human resources – the combination of CRM and marketing automation software will help you interact with prospects and current customers via electronic media with quick response times and delivery of communications, allowing employees to concentrate on good quality leads.
2. By shifting to in-house activity – creating inbound campaigns in-house leads to the phasing out of external, outsourced and usually costly suppliers.
3. By standardising processes – cutting administration, negating repetitive tasks such as data entry, ensuring that information is up-to-date, allowing for more effective tracking of management and customer information. All of these together with reducing the risk of improper procedures that could affect compliance help to keep down administration costs.
